When you first get together with Hazel she will discuss your outfit showing you fabric sample books to browse through as well as many pictures of styles and ideas for to consider. When you receive a visit she can bring samples of her work. These include bodices, corsets, skirts, coats, dresses and veils. After this initial meeting Hazel will send you an estimate of the cost and then if you decide to go ahead she will meet you again to take your measurements. The third appointment will involve the fitting of a toile. This is a trial version of your outfit made in cotton to get the best fit and it also allows you to see and make variations to what is being made. There will probably be less altering required to your finished dress or corset and skirt as a result.  Then depending on the complexity and structure of your outfit three or four  further fittings will be necessary. Sometimes it is necessary to take photographs of your fittings for reference during construction. Although it is relatively easy to find a wedding dress on the High Street  some brides like to be sure that their special dress is unique to them. Hazel Grace loves to design and construct an outfit that is tailored to each brides individuality and choice. Dresses on the market are standard sizes so a perfect fit can be difficult as they are not made for each bride. So working with a toile she can be sure that the dress or outfit fits like a glove and is the right style before work begins on the actual fabric. Outfits made by Hazel Grace are usually a one off and very unique, which is every brides dream! Whatever your size Hazel Grace can talk to you about making that  dress to make you feel very special. The cost of making your special dress depends on a great many factors, but prices start at about £600 for a dress or a couture bodice or corset  with  skirt subject to the cost of the fabrics chosen. Please feel free to discuss your budget with Hazel.                      Hazel Grace can also make waistcoats and cravats for the men, and dresses for all ages of bridesmaids. If the mother of the bride wants something special it is worth contacting her to discuss this. Some brides wear a veil but there are several other options which should be considered including shrugs, boleros, jackets, capes and coats. Working from home Hazel Grace  prepared to visit the bride in her home, if not too far away, to discuss styles and designs and also do subsequent fittings. When an order is placed a 50% deposit is required unless your wedding is more than  9 months away. Otherwise a deposit of  30% is required and a subsequent 30% is payable 9 months before the wedding. Payments can now be taken by credit card through Paypal. The final balance is due a month before the collection date. For an extra fee,  Hazel Grace can attend you on your wedding day to fit your dress.
